IRCTC Comes up with new Next Generation Website For e-Ticket Booking

Finally, Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) re-acted to the voice and complaints of its website users all over the country.The far-behind outdated site (www.irctc.co.in) now has got better interface & mainly the lightning speed in a new website address NGET [ New Generation E-Ticket ] https://www.nget.irctc.co.in.
Officially, IRCTC to make things easier to all customers, the new website is intimated through SMS. Still, few steps to be followed by customers to go on booking in the new site.

How to migrate from old IRCTC website to new one..?

1) Logon to old website  www.irctc.co.in (One- time only) 
2)You will be displayed with a welcome screen as below :
3) Click the Proceed For Banking / Cancellation Link. The link forwards to the new website. Now , follow the links to book the tickets.

4) Now you successfully, migrated from old one. In further bookings, you can use the new website. 

About new Site :
Outfitted with great new feature in which one is that the user will automatically log out after every three minutes.
Previously, due to inactive users, the session gets locked & users get session expired error. The feature has been added to minimise the heavy traffic on the website.
Further, The user can have the option Quick Book & different fast Booking Options.It contines extended support to flight booking,hotel booking & with tourist packages of great historic places.

As, per  an announcement from IRCTC, the new site records 5.8 lakh e-ticket booking in a single day.
Note: Still the new site is running in beta version with some features access is hidden.
