Neeraj Chopra wins Gold medal, Creates history for India in athletics | Tokyo Olympics 2020

Neeraj Chopra of India won the gold medal in men's javelin throw with a best attempt of 87.58. It was India's first medal in athletics in the history of Olympics and the second individual gold medal after Abhinav Bindra's victory in Beijing 2008.

The 23-year-old athlete registered a best attempt of 87.58 to finish ahead of Czech Republic duo of Jakub Vadlejch and Vitezslav Vesely to clinch the gold medal.

Neeraj started off with a throw of 87.03, taking the lead after the first round of throws itself. If that was a good start, he went even better with his second throw of 87.58.

Neeraj's third throw was 76.79. His fourth and fifth attempts were foul throws, but he continued to top the leaderboard.

His last throw was a formality, and he recorded 84.24 with the attempt.

Step 1 : Launch the Google Mobile App. Users needs to Login to Google Account for accessing this feature. (By default, Android users already logged into Google Account via Mobile).

Step 2 : Type 'Add me to Search' or type your name.

Step 3 : The next prompt you will receive is to add yourself on Google Search and Click Get started, you can go ahead from there to creating your card. 

Step 4 : Provide required information like Name, Occupation, Location, About, Work, Social handles etc.,

Step 5 : Preview your Google People Card.

In few hours, your Google People Card will get noticed by Public across the world.
